Specialty Licence Plates

To order a specialty plate please visit our registry office with:

• Your driver’s licence
• Registration document
• Authorization for Vehicle Services form if the registration is in joint names.

Specialty licence plates are only issued for private passenger vehicles and government vehicle registrations.

Specialty licence plates are non-refundable.

Personalized Plates

Your plate must follow these guidelines:

• special characters are not permitted
• have a minimum of 1 character and/or a maximum of 7 letters or numbers
• have a minimum of 1 character and/or a maximum of 5 letters or numbers for motorcycle plates

Once a Personalized Plate is issued, you have the choice of renewing your vehicle registration or a plate exchange fee to register the new personalized plate.
