To register a vehicle, you must provide the following:
- Proof of Ownership document (examples are; a lease agreement, bill of sale, gift letter, will or probate letter.).
- New Vehicle Information Statement (N.V.I.S.) is for new vehicles only and are provided by the dealership.
- Proof of Valid Insurance for the vehicle
- An Out-of-Province, Salvage or Commercial Inspection (if applicable). Out-of-Province request forms can be purchased at our office with Proof-of-Ownership and Acceptable Identification. (Take this form to an approved inspection facility to have the inspection completed and you will only have 14 days to register the vehicle from the completed inspection date. After this date a new inspection will be required at your expense.)
